LEAD GENERATION
Multi-Channel Lead Generation That Pays for Interest, Not Noise
One list, four channels, one plan. Voice finds who is interested, then SMS, RCS and WhatsApp follow up based on how each person responded.
QUICK ANSWER
Multi-channel lead generation means reaching the same list through voice calls, SMS, RCS and WhatsApp, and letting each person's response decide the next message. With Smart Growth AI, a short IVR call goes out first, listen duration and key presses sort people by interest, and paid follow-ups go only to those who engaged. Leads land in one Google Sheet.
01
Interest decides the next step
Listen time and key presses sort your list, so WhatsApp and RCS spend goes to people who actually paid attention.
02
Hot leads reach a person instantly
Anyone who presses 1 is connected to a live agent while still on the call, with a WhatsApp follow-up sent after.
03
Every lead in one sheet
Name, mobile, city, interest level and what they responded to, all collected in a Google Sheet you choose.
What multi-channel lead generation actually looks like
Most businesses we speak to already have a list. It might be past enquiries, a purchased database, event sign-ups or walk-ins collected over years. The problem is rarely the list. It is that the same expensive message goes to everyone, and the team then spends days calling people who were never going to respond.
Multi-channel lead generation fixes the order of things. You start with the cheapest channel that can tell you who is interested, and you send richer, costlier messages only to those people. Smart Growth AI runs this across voice, SMS, RCS and the Official WhatsApp Business API from a single campaign.
How it works, channel by channel
- Step 1 – Voice call to the full list. A pre-recorded clip of about 30 seconds explains your offer. The system tracks how long each person listened.
- Step 2 – Thank-you SMS to everyone who answered. A short DLT-compliant SMS says thanks for listening and gives your number, so anyone who wants to call back later can.
- Step 3 – Sort by listen time. Under 10 seconds is treated as not interested and gets no paid follow-up. 10 to 25 seconds means partially interested. 25 seconds or more means highly interested.
- Step 4 – Match the channel to the interest. Partially interested people get an RCS carousel with up to 10 image or video cards. Highly interested people get an Official WhatsApp template with up to 10 videos covering details, highlights and benefits.
- Step 5 – Press 1 for a person. Anyone who presses 1 during the call is connected to a live agent straight away. The agent gets a notification showing who they spoke to and which clip that person heard.
- Step 6 – Fallbacks. DND or failed numbers get an RCS attempt. If a message does not reach someone on voice, WhatsApp or RCS, a fourth fallback SMS goes out.
Why the order matters for your budget
Sending WhatsApp and RCS to an entire list is the most common way lead generation budgets disappear. In a worked example on our Smart Growth AI Campaign page, a 3,00,000-contact list costs about ₹2,47,210 when everything goes to everyone, and about ₹1,00,501 when follow-ups depend on interest. That is a saving of roughly 59% on that example, using example rates before GST. Your actual quote can differ, but the logic stays the same: pay for interested people.
What your team receives
Every lead is written into one Google Sheet that you pick. Each row can carry the name, mobile number, city, product or course interest, listen duration, which button was pressed and an interest level. If you use a CRM such as Zoho, HubSpot, LeadSquared or TeleCRM, the same data can be pushed via webhook/API.
After the campaign, the AI campaign report shows cost per lead, which voice clip held attention better and which WhatsApp or RCS template drew more replies. That makes your next round sharper without guesswork.
A realistic expectation
In our campaigns, with 1,000 calls going out every 10 minutes and five agents taking transfers, around one lead per 100 answered calls is a common baseline. Your offer, list quality and timing will move that number up or down. We would rather you plan with an honest figure than a hopeful one.
Keep warm leads warm
People who listened 25 seconds or more, pressed a key, or replied on WhatsApp or RCS can be turned into Meta ad audiences. You can then show them Instagram Reels ads, WhatsApp Status ads or a lead form, so your brand stays in front of them while your team follows up.
Who this suits
This approach works well for education businesses filling seats, hospitals and clinics promoting health check-up packages, and insurance or loan teams looking for fresh enquiries. FAQ
Questions people ask
Which channel goes first in a multi-channel lead campaign?
Voice goes first. A short IVR call reaches the whole list at low cost, and listen duration plus key presses tell us who is interested. RCS, WhatsApp and SMS follow based on that response, so richer messages go only to people who paid attention.
Do I need my own list to start?
Yes, the campaign runs on a list you already have, such as past enquiries or event sign-ups. If you also want fresh leads, we can run Meta Lead Form, Click-to-WhatsApp or Instagram Reels ads and feed those leads into the same follow-up flow.
What happens to people who do not answer the call?
Numbers that are on DND or fail on voice get an RCS attempt. If a person still is not reached on voice, WhatsApp or RCS, a fallback SMS goes out, so nobody on the list is skipped without at least one attempt.
How many leads will I get?
It depends on your list, offer and timing, so we cannot promise a number. In our campaigns, around one lead per 100 answered calls is a common baseline with 1,000 calls every 10 minutes and five live agents.
Can leads go into my CRM instead of a Google Sheet?
Yes. Leads land in a free Google Sheet by default, and can also be sent to CRMs such as Zoho, HubSpot, LeadSquared or TeleCRM via webhook/API. Our team helps set this up during onboarding.
