FOR LENDERS AND DSAS

Lead Qualification for Loans and NBFCs

Find out who actually wants a loan before your tele-callers dial. Interested applicants press 1, share basic details on WhatsApp, and land in your CRM.

QUICK ANSWER

Smart Growth AI helps NBFCs, DSAs and loan aggregators qualify leads before sales calls. A short IVR clip goes to your consented list, listen duration and key presses show interest, and interested people get WhatsApp or RCS follow-ups with a document checklist. Hot leads connect to a live agent instantly, and all data flows to your CRM via webhook/API.

01

Callers spend time on warm leads

Listen duration and key presses sort the list, so tele-callers start with people who showed interest instead of dialling every number.

02

Document checklists on WhatsApp

Interested applicants get a clear list of KYC and income documents, and can share basic details through a WhatsApp form.

03

Every lead in your system

Qualified leads post to your LOS or CRM via webhook/API, or into a Google Sheet, with interest level and the clip they heard.

The real cost in loan sales is wasted dialling

Personal loans, business loans, gold loans, two-wheeler loans and home loan balance transfers are sold largely over the phone. Most lenders and DSAs have big lists and small calling teams. The team spends hours on numbers that never pick up, or on people who were never looking for credit. The few genuinely interested applicants wait in the queue and sometimes go to another lender first.

Smart Growth AI flips the order. A short automated step finds who is interested, and your people talk to them first.

How loan lead qualification works

Step 1: A short voice clip

We play a roughly 30-second clip to your list, for example about a business loan for traders or a gold loan at your branch. Everyone who answers gets an SMS with your call-back number, so nobody who wants to return the call loses it.

Step 2: Interest is measured, not guessed

  • Hung up under 10 seconds: treated as not interested. No paid follow-up.
  • 10 to 25 seconds: partially interested. An RCS card or carousel explains eligibility basics and the documents needed.
  • Over 25 seconds: highly interested. A WhatsApp template with a short explainer and a link to a WhatsApp form.
  • Pressed 1: connected to a live agent right away, through press-1 live agent transfer.

Step 3: Basic details on WhatsApp

Interested people can share name, city, loan type, approximate amount and employment type through a WhatsApp form. The custom form API posts this to your LOS or CRM. Your credit team still makes every decision; the form only saves your sales team a first call.

Step 4: Agents know the context

When an agent picks up a lead, they see who it is, which clip was played, and how long the person listened. In our campaigns, a setting of 1,000 calls every 10 minutes connected to 5 live agents is a practical starting point, and teams commonly see around one lead per 100 answered calls as a baseline. Results depend on your list and offer.

What we keep out of the messages

Templates and bots share factual product information you provide, such as loan types, documents and branch timings. They do not promise approval, quote an individual's eligibility, or advise anyone to borrow. Interest rates and charges should be shown only as your compliance team approves, with the disclosures your regulator expects. Final terms come from your sanction process, not from a chatbot.

Consent, DND and opt-out

Use lists where people have agreed to be contacted. SMS goes out on DLT-registered templates. Every channel carries an unsubscribe option, and an opt-out is applied across voice, SMS, WhatsApp and RCS. For DND numbers, delivery is handled within the rules for your message category, and RCS is attempted where allowed.

Existing borrowers too

Beyond new leads, the same platform sends EMI due reminders, top-up offers to existing customers who opted in, and document pending alerts. Reminders should stay polite and factual, follow your collection policy and the fair practices code that applies to you, and always include a way to reach a person.

Why the cost comes down

Because WhatsApp and RCS go only to people who listened, you are not paying to message the whole list. Our worked example on 3 lakh contacts at example rates shows ₹2,47,210 for blanket sending versus ₹1,00,501 for the Smart Growth AI Campaign, about 59% lower. Your quote will depend on your volumes. FAQ

Questions people ask

How does Smart Growth AI qualify loan leads?

A short voice clip plays to your consented list. Listen duration and key presses show interest, so only engaged people receive WhatsApp or RCS follow-ups, and anyone who presses 1 is connected to a live agent straight away.

Does the chatbot tell people whether they will get a loan?

No. The bot and templates share only general product information and document checklists that you provide. Eligibility, approval and final terms are decided by your credit team through your normal process.

Can leads go directly into our LOS or CRM?

Yes. WhatsApp form submissions and qualified leads can be posted to your loan origination system or CRM via webhook/API. If you prefer, they can go to a free Google Sheet that your team shares.

Can we send EMI reminders on the same platform?

Yes. Automatic EMI reminders can go on WhatsApp with RCS and SMS fallback. Keep the wording factual and polite, follow your collection policy, and include a contact number so borrowers can reach your team.

How are DLT and opt-out handled?

SMS is sent on your DLT-registered headers and templates. Every channel includes an opt-out, and once someone unsubscribes, Smart Growth AI excludes that number across voice, SMS, WhatsApp and RCS automatically.
