NEET & JEE COACHING
Lead Generation for NEET and JEE Coaching Institutes
Fill your repeater, crash-course and long-term batches by talking first to the students and parents who actually listened.
QUICK ANSWER
Smart Growth AI helps NEET and JEE coaching institutes generate leads by calling student and parent lists with a 30-second IVR clip, tracking listen time, and sending WhatsApp video brochures only to those who listened longest. Students who press 1 reach a counsellor instantly. It suits result-season pushes, scholarship test drives and new batch launches.
01
Built for result-week rush
Run a large voice campaign in the days after results, when students are deciding between a drop year, a crash course or a new institute.
02
Scholarship test sign-ups
Promote your scholarship or admission test and collect registrations through WhatsApp forms that post straight to your sheet.
03
Parents and students both
Capture student name, parent name, city and target exam, so counsellors know whether they are speaking to the aspirant or the family.
The coaching calendar is short and crowded
For a NEET or JEE institute, most of the year's enrolments are decided in a few tight windows. Results come out, and within days families start deciding: join a repeater batch, try a crash course, switch cities, or move to a long-term programme for Class 11. Your scholarship test dates, batch start dates and early-bird fee deadlines all sit inside that window.
Every other institute in your city is calling the same students. The ones who reach the right family first, with the right message, win the seat.
What a coaching campaign looks like with Smart Growth AI
Start with a voice call, not a spam blast
Record a short clip from your director or a senior faculty member: the batch, the start date, the scholarship test and the number to call. The IVR voice call goes to your list, and the system notes how many seconds each student or parent listened.
Let listen time decide the follow-up
- Under 10 seconds: treated as not interested. No WhatsApp or RCS spend on them.
- 10 to 25 seconds: an RCS carousel with batch details, results videos and faculty intros, up to 10 cards.
- 25 seconds and above: an Official WhatsApp template with up to 10 videos, a scholarship test link and a counsellor's number.
- Pressed 1: connected to a counsellor live, then sent a personalised WhatsApp follow-up.
Everyone who picked up also gets an SMS with your call-back number, which matters because many parents prefer to call back after office hours.
Numbers that do not answer still get a chance
If a number is on DND or the call fails, the platform tries RCS. If it still does not reach them on voice, WhatsApp or RCS, a DLT-compliant SMS goes as the last fallback.
Running a scholarship or admission test drive
A scholarship test is often the best hook a coaching institute has. You can promote it on the voice clip, then collect registrations through a WhatsApp form. The form asks for student name, parent name, class, target exam and preferred centre, and posts the answers to your Google Sheet or CRM via webhook/API. After registration, automatic reminders go out the day before the test with the centre address and reporting time, and again when results are declared.
Handling the counselling load
In result week your front desk gets flooded with the same questions: fees, hostel, batch timings, refund policy, study material. An AI chatbot builder creates a WhatsApp bot from a description of your institute, which you can then edit without code. Simple questions get answered at once, and the students who need a counsellor are passed to a person through the shared inbox.
What the numbers can look like
In our campaigns, with 1,000 calls going out every 10 minutes and 5 counsellors on the line, about one lead for every 100 answered calls is a common starting point. Your results will depend on your list, your clip and your offer. The AI campaign report shows cost per lead and which clip and template performed better, so the second week of the campaign is usually sharper than the first.
The full flow is explained on the Smart Growth AI Campaign page, including a worked cost example for a list of 3 lakh students.
After the seat is booked
Once students join, the same channels handle fee instalment reminders, test schedules, rank lists and parent updates. Parents who are paying for an expensive two-year programme like hearing from the institute regularly, and a WhatsApp update after every major test does that without extra calls from your staff.

FAQ
Questions people ask
When should a coaching institute start its campaign?
Most institutes plan the voice campaign for the days right after NEET or JEE results, with scholarship test promotion running a few weeks before batch start. We help you set up templates and clips in advance so the campaign can go out the moment you are ready.
Can we target repeaters and fresh Class 11 students separately?
Yes. You can split your list and record a different clip for each group, for example a repeater batch message and a two-year programme message. The report then shows which clip and which template brought better leads for each group.
Where do we get student data from?
Most institutes use their own enquiry lists, past scholarship test registrations, walk-ins and leads from Meta ads. We can also run Click-to-WhatsApp and Instagram Reels ads to bring in fresh enquiries that flow into the same campaign and sheet.
Will students who say no keep getting messages?
No. Anyone who cuts the call early gets no paid follow-up, and every channel has opt-out handling. If a student or parent unsubscribes on voice, SMS, WhatsApp or RCS, they are removed from future sends on that channel.
How many counsellors do we need?
It depends on how fast you send calls. A common setup in our campaigns is 1,000 calls every 10 minutes connected to 5 live counsellors. We can slow the pace or add agents so press-1 calls are always answered.
